Since posting a story with photos at about 9:15 a.m. this morning regarding a vandalism which took place, TLS has been receiving dozens of emails asking why it was removed, as the story did not at all seem offensive or ‘dirty’. The answer, as we have been responding all day, is because we were asked to do so by the party involved. Thank you for understanding.

i can understand why it was removed. it was depressing to see such a story. feh
I hate this new term Daas Torah. Why can’t you say the name of the person you asked. Is that person too cowardly to stand beind their decison.
To be clear, I am all for seeking Torah guidance, I just don’t understand why it has to be done in this anonymous way.
It seems as if anyone can make anything up, call it “Dass Torah” and suddenly, it become a non negotiable issur/mitzva doraisa. This is a totally new concept in yiddishkeit.
