PHOTOS: The Lakewood Fire Department and police responded to a call of a power line fire at the intersection of Cross Street and White Road a short time ago, Jacksononline tells TLS. A large tree had fallen across power lines, causing a small electrical fire and smoke conditions followed by arcing lines  and a loud pop, possibly a transformer.  

JCP&L repair crews are on scene for the repairs.

The incident was initially responded to by the Whitesville Fire Company of Jackson Township and the Jackson Police Department, which handed the incident off to Lakewood Township once they realized it was in Lakewood. Submitted by Phil Stilton of Jacksononline.
