Whispering Pines And DPW Working Together

PHOTOS: The following-and photos-were submitted by a reader: The residents of Whispering Pines and DPW worked hand in hand to get the clean up job done. DPW arranged with the Whispering Pines management to get the street clean by hauling away the iced up snow. It was a tedious job but with everyone’s cooperation, it got done. The residents of Whispering Pines are very thankful to Mr. Franklin and J.C. Of the DPW. Special Thank You  to Mayor Steve Langert , keep up the great job. We hope to have the other half of the street cleaned  today.

  1. I think that they should also be concentrating on getting rid of snow on the street corners – it is very hard to see if you can safely make a right or left turn or even cross the street with the snow piled high.

  2. WOW, someone has connections in town.. this just shows the little things that are done for certain people.. How much money did this cost US taxpayers? We are in a financial crisis!! And when does the rest of the town get this service? Let me know who to contact so i can get my street cleaned? Not cheap to have a truck to hold all the snow someone to drive the bulldozer back and forth not to mention gas? PLEASE township explain why this was only done in certain areas? Does anybody that lives in these places have a connections with any committee members? Just asking..

  3. I never commented before on this site. but with all the complaing why my devlopments or its too late. Just get your acts together and organize.
The way to get the job done is to organize with the residents on your block to remove the cars off the street and pre arrange with dpw to have them come down and clear your street during a specific time they give you. But you better make sure all the cars are out of the way or they will not come back.
You have to have good management like (moderated) , and hoemowners pitching in to help move the cars and make calls .
you cant rely on the management alone its up to the rseidents to help out and call neighbors to move their cars.

Whispering pines might be a tight development for cars but we are also tighly nitted together when it comes to helping each other in times of need and we organize.

Learn from us ,organize and you willl see

  4. the Shabbos storm was a great clean up but the last storm is a disaster all cars were moved at the time of the storm but it was not cleaned I have a problem parking and the buses are having a hard time I guess we need a new management company

  5. The Public Works Department is ready to work with any street or development who is ready to cooperate with them. In. WP it was IMPOSSIBLE to drive to do the nature of the roads. Busses couldn’t get in and the PD stated that it was to unsafe for such traffic.

Kudos to Redmont Management and R’ Yanky Ort for being on top of the situation to get the message out and the coordenation in place. Kudos for all the residents for complying and of course thanks to John Jim and Al for working round the clock for us Lakewoos residents.
