  1. Here are some free things you can do: Homdel park has a great Free snowtubing area . They have a fireplace and outlets (to warm up hot water for cocoa tea etc) like exit 109 ish GSP. Monmouth battlefield park (off Marlboro Rt 9, has a huge hill and they let snowtubing (not well known and usually empty) .Wanna ice skate? go to the morningside park in howell (off Squankum RD)they have a free outdoor skating rink (bring your own skates ) Don’t have snow tubes? The Xmas tree store in brick has ’em for 10 bucks. (if they ran out, go to any tire store and ask for inner tubes , they’re usually 5-10 bucks). Not the adventurous type? You can go to Manhattan , they now have Legoland.M&M’s World , Sony Wonder Museum and an outdoor skating rink at Madison Square Gardens.(also BYOskates, if u don’t have skates, its fun to watch) ALL FREE!!! ( but they’ll get ya on the other stuff) Happy trailing!

  2. go shopping with the girls make it a mother – daughter day, maybe have lunch a t the bagel nosh, go to the outlets, in jackson or go to the mall, and if you don’t want to do that just stay home and bake

  4. There are a lot of houses for sale around town. Pack up the kids & check ’em out. Some are pretty cheap. Maybe u should BUY one. For the kids. Prices are only gonna go up in the long run. We all know that. & I’m not even a RE broker.

  5. Ski, Ski & Ski some more. Rabbossai, if ur kids are a little older & need s/thing invigorating , u gotta do it. I tell me kids rabbeim “its k’mat a chiyuv”. Spring Mountain is very close by (about 1:15) & cheap. It’ll wake ur kids up fpor the rest of the z’man. The kids (& scaredy-cat girls) can go tubing on the side.

  6. May I suggest a family trip 2 the biggest tent in town??? Our very own co-op?!?!?! You can always use more groceries and they have the best prices in town! You can spend the money you save on arts & crafts, candy, or shovels for the upcoming storms while your kids watch the bird show at no additional charge! 🙂

  7. The home is the best place for a Ben torah play with ur kids monopoly or other games bake with them go to satmer rebbe lever and r’moshe Feinstein and other gedolim daven there I’m telling u that the best thing to do it could change ur kids and ur self into a real ben Torah and teach them that the home is the best place in the world

  8. Just got home from creative kids. They had many crafts kits and ideas and. many things on sale. My kids will be busy and haPpy. Happy kids mean a happy mommy

kids skiing leasons are availabale there and are great, its not a cheap outing, and we save up for this acouple of months in advance, but its a lifetime experience and a lesson you can give them for them to enjoy many years to come…my rav said skiing is the most tzniusdiker sport being everyone is wel bundeed up, (pants and all).
kids tend to pick up on skiing very quicky, being they have less fear then an untrained adult, being that a child is short, their fall is much coser to the ground.
