New Jersey American Water Company lifted its mandatory water restrictions for its customers in Monmouth and Ocean counties today. The restrictions came with the anticipation of high-tourist influx for July 4th weekend and the hot weather New Jersey experienced most of last week, said Richard Barnes, external affairs manager for American Water Co. “Our costumers were very cooperative to responding to our requests, so the high demand levels we experienced over the July 4 weekend had been reduced,” said Barnes. “So thanks to our costumers were were able to lift the restrictions.” Read more in Star Ledger.
