Notice . The Police Department sent The Lakewood Scoop the following notice. A water main is broken at the intersection of Pine Street and Cedar Street. Today at 9:00 AM New Jersey American Water Company will begin excavation on Pine Street near Cedar Street to make repairs. Police will attempt to maintain a double lane shift to keep traffic moving in both directions. Should the excavation become too large, an alternating traffic pattern will be initiated. Until the repairs are complete, motorists can expect delays in that area.
