WATCH: A witness to the ‘bear diving’ has submitted cell phone footage of the vandalism act to TLS.
The five-second clip was taken from a street-view angle, and shows what took down the approximately 10-foot iconic Chanukah-themed inflatable bear.
The bear, says DB Electronics management, has already been repaired and is up and running again (pictured).
The management also told TLS they don’t intend to file charges against the perpetrator, as “he was probably just trying to have a good time, and didn’t intend to do damage.”

Did the guy just happen to be taping the stationary bear?
Someone walked out the front door at the end
This faux vandalism story is pure marketing/advertising genius… Good work!
There has got to be a psychological condition for such an action. What makes a guy do a bear dive and split?
Now that’s funny stuff still laughing. A very nice bear dive. Please sent this to Channel 7 WABC Americans funniest Videos. It will win
Lol
Interesting how he happened to be taping the bear before the guy ever runs toward it.
Plus, in the original video, the vandal runs right towards where the cellphone video guy would be standing. It seems he cut the video short before the vandal would come closer and be identifiable.
Clearly whoever shot this second video was involved or at least knows more than he is letting on.
