  1. Biden said he spoke with Netanyahu over the phone:
“We discussed how Democracies like Israel and the US are stronger and more secure when we act according to the rule of law,” he said. “Terrorists purposely target civilians, and kill them. We uphold the law of war. It matters, there’s a difference.”
I suppose that means Biden will soon be lecturing Netanyahu about Israel’s response in Gaza. Biden usually does that when Israel responds in self defense.
Biden also recounted a meeting he had with Golda Meir shortly before the Yom Kippur War. However, as the Times of Israel and other media outlets have reported in the past after Biden recounted this same story, the President is not being truthful about the meeting.
In truth, Biden, in his conversation with Golda Meir, criticized the Nixon administration for “being dragged by Israel”. Biden complained that it was impossible to have a debate in the Senate about the Middle East because lawmakers were reluctant to criticize Israel.
Biden has also left out some of the other criticisms of Israel that he told Golda Meir during that meeting. Par for the course.

  2. It is funny, if you go on israel news websites, and israel social media, there is an extremely positive response to Biden, only in partisan lakewood do u take issue with biden.
