WATCH: LFD Uses Ladder Truck to Rescue Injured Construction Worker from Building

lfd resuing patient tlsVIDEO: As first reported on our news alerts, construction worker injured on the second story of a building needed to be rescued by the Lakewood Fire Department.

Shortly before 9 AM, police received a call about a construction worker injured on a Madison Avenue building under construction.

Emergency personnel from EMS were able to get to the patient and treat him, but could not bring a stretcher down, so the Lakewood Fire Department was called in.

Using a the ladder and a stokes basket, the patient was lowered down to the ground, and loaded into a waiting ambulance.

The patient was transported to MMCSC in stable condition.
