VIDEO: Her name is Twix. The six-year-old LionHead rabbit was a regular rabbit until about six months ago, when it became paralyzed from what they believe was a slipped disk in her lower spine.
But instead of putting down the rabbit, the good heart of Gary Przwoznik, a recently retired police officer who now works as security in Lakewood, just couldn’t do it.
“We tried to make her comfortable and as clean as possible, even thou she had difficulty cleaning herself,” Przewoznik told TLS. “Most of the time a rabbit in her condition would be put down because there is nothing to correct this issue.”
But that didn’t deter the officer from coming up with a way to make things better for the small animal.
“Well, after lots of thought and research, I came up with this custom wheelchair fitted just for her,” says Przewoznik.
Just because the young rabbit won’t be a hoppin’ rabbit anytime soon, that doesn’t mean it won’t be able to join a Nascar competition with its new wheels.
“This has given her a whole new lease of life now,” says Przewoznik. “She scoots all around.”

Is this really news? We have cops being stabbed, home owners being gunned down in their residence……and a bunny in a wheel chair. Wow!
This is extremely important to me.
Great news God bless you Dorit.
