WATCH: Horse Rescued in Howell after Getting Stuck in the Mud

A horse carrying a rider got stuck in the mud today in Howell, prompting a large emergency response.

Personnel from multiple agencies responded to the scene and used ropes and more to free the horse from the thick mud.

The rider was not injured, and the horse was led away, also apparently uninjured.
