Police in Lakewood and Brick received several calls this afternoon of an unidentified item which fell from the sky. Police and Firefighters were out searching for what one particular caller described as a meteorite, and a fireball in the sky. Sources say there were dozens of residents who apparently witnessed this unidentified item, but nothing was found.
Police and first responders searched the area of the airport as well as the Leisure Village area. TLS-P5.
Craig allen chief meteorologist on cbs said today that meteorites were visible today from all over the tri-state area…some were as bright as a full moon and some even like the sun…
