War in Israel: Statement from Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer

TLS reached out to Lakewood Police Chief with regards to the war in Israel, and what precautions are being taken locally:

I wanted to take a moment to address the recent events unfolding in Israel, as I know many of us are following the situation closely and our thoughts and prayers are with the people affected.

As Chief of the Lakewood Police, I want to assure you that the safety and security of our community remain our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and implementing necessary security measures to ensure the well-being of everyone in Lakewood.

In times like these, it is crucial for us to come together and support one another. Let us remain vigilant, look out for our neighbors, and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. By working together, we can maintain a safe and secure environment for all.

I encourage you to keep the people of Israel in your thoughts and prayers during these challenging times. They need our support, and our collective strength will make a difference.

If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Lakewood Police Department. We are here to serve you and keep our community safe.

Stay strong, stay united, and let compassion guide us through these difficult days.

Gregory H Meyer
Chief of Lakewood Police
