Wallenberg Commission Thanks Speaker For Vote On Gold Medal Legislation

PHOTO: Speaker of the US House of Representatives John Boehner, who brought the legislation awarding Swedish Diplomat Raoul Wallenberg with a Congressional Gold Medal in honor of the centennial of his birth to the floor of the House of Representatives, was thanked yesterday by the Board of Governors of the Wallenberg Centennial Commission.

The legislation, now headed to US Senate, was passed overwhelmingly in honor of the Days of Remembrance that was commemorated in the Rotunda of the US Capitol.

  1. I also see Peter Rebenwurzel and Abe Biderman who are major supporters of Torah at this meeting–they are mamesh making a Kiddush Hashem!
