  1. You see how dangerous old vehicles are.
I’ve been through it. Throughout the years a few of my vehicles I loved and kept too long. After 5 years or 100,000 miles it becomes a money pit. After 10 years or 200,000 everything is rusted, brittle and leaking resulting in brake loss, steering loss, under hood fires etc. I found new vehicle payments for a reliable new vehicle with ice cold A/C to be much cheaper than driving an old money pit. Especially now new vehicle prices, leasing and financing are finally starting to come down.
