VIDEO: A woman was caught on video stealing a wallet containing nearly $1,000 in cash at the ‘Laundry Time’ after the victim turned away for a moment.

The proprietor of Laundry Time, Mr. Abe Shapiro, tells TLS the swift action of police led to the recovery of the wallet, which contained the victim’s identifications as well.
With the surveillance camera capturing a clear photo of the suspect (not shown in video below) and suspect’s license plate, police officers Rodney Youmans and Ralph Hatt were immediately able to track down the suspect at her home.
Once confronted, the suspect admitted to the crime, and showed police where she had dumped the empty wallet.
The money, and other items were returned to the victim, who declined pressing charges.
“The officers did a great job,” Shapiro says.

Besides for theft they should charge her w money laundering. Although her lawyer might take her to the cleaners. Wonder y the vic didnt press charges.
Probably the details needed ironing out. This is a blue collar crime and the lawyers are such stuffed shirts, if they’re not perfectly clean, the case may be washed up.
