  1. There is a special took for breaking tempered glass. Too bad the town doesn’t have the money to purchase them for the police to carry for situations like this. Then again, if people learned how to drive this would not have happened.

    • DDovid, don’t be so quick to judge. I watched the accident happen. That overturned car had the right of way, but there was an ambulance WITHOUT sirens on that was trying to cut traffic and the car in front of this black one made a short stop. Therefore, this car that probably did not see the ambulance (was coming out from Walmart’s direction) short stopped and turned/skidded. Glad no one was seriously injured, that was really scary!

    • DDovid, windshields are NEVER designed to shatter. The injuries that could cause would be grievous. The windows are laminated so the entire thing is really difficult to get through. the best bet would be to remove the entire window.

  2. Hello to all,

I am sorry for the accident . The first responder had a two tone siren on and was stopped at the intersection legally. According to witnesses the first responder car followed all the protocols it had to.
I witnessed the accident from the Walmart side.
Secondly the driver of the car that flipped did not even brake at all it went full speed into the first car.
Stop being so quick to judge, it was an ACCIDENT.
