  1. Because The Government views The People as dangerous to its power. If The People can be closely monitored, they can be more easily controlled. the more information about you The Government has, the more easily you can be rounded up. Never forget.

  2. This could be good for amber and silver alerts. Also good for catching all the dead beats unregistered, uninsured, driving on the revoked list, uninspected and people who have warrants out for them etc etc. Only the dead beats should be afraid. God forbid our insurance costs should go lower because of this.
