VIDEO: Reb Yitzchak and Shaindel Cohen, old-time Lakewood residents living in Lakewood for nearly a half century, left yesterday for Eretz Yisroel to make an Aliya.
Peretz Eichler spoke with the Cohens about the Lakewood they saw when the Yeshivah community consisted of just a few families, and when everyone in the town still knew each other personally.
Reb Yitzchak and Shaindel are also the parents of Zalmy Cohen, who moved from Lakewood approximately 15 years ago to Miami, where he founded the Miami Hatzolah.

yes, shes the one who deals with selective Mute’s
Wow! What beautiful words of wisdom! Lakewood is truly losing an exemplary mishpacha! A real Talmid Chacham and a Rebetzen, who are role models of true ovdei Hashem! I myself have benefited from Rebetzen Shaindels insightful guidance in many areas of my life. Many of my brothers have been blessed to have Morah Shaindel as their preschool teacher. They will be extremely missed, may they have much hatzlacha on their new journey and May Hashem give them strength ad mean veesrim shana to continue shteiging!
Gonna miss them! The old Lakewood of 40+ years ago was wonderful! I really miss it.
Shaindel Cohen did wonders for our child. Luckily out teacher was ready to listen to her advice and restructured the class instruction on her advice. today no one would believe our child was a selective mute.
