   • Same here. It is sad that so many people have such an amateur perspective that isn’t based in Torah, but more like an elementary based token system. See Sefer Derech Hashem, Mesilas Yeshorim Perek 19, and Tanya chapter 26. It is people like you who are truly bringing out Kevod Shamayim.

2. Thank you to the writer who wrote in in September I am holding on my tally counter at 601 encounters mainly in Lakewood, New Jersey not going to Manhattan and they’re still a big nisuyon. I work in the school system and they’re still many encounters with women some of them looking like they’re dressed to a wedding on a regular day. May it be a merit for you?

7. I’m not sure what the point of all the 100’s of stories now published about people being mechazek themselves in a Mitzva & seeing a Yeshuah. We are living in golus which is a state of hester ponim, of Hashem hiding his Hashgacha from us. We are living in a world of Tzadik Verah Lo, Rosha Vetov lo. Chazal teach us “Schar Mitzva Behai Alma Leka” The Sechar for for mitzvos is not in this world, it’s in the next world.
   If we base our mitzva observance on the expectation of seeing a yeshuah for it, we’ll be very disappointed after not seeing it come.
   These stories are beautiful & heartwarming but rarely repeatable.
   Let’s be mechazeik ourselves because it’s the right thing to do, even if we never see the reward in this world.

   • i think vayimayn has the least of “those people”. there are people not speaking LH, people lighting early, people pledging to various tzidakos all with the hope of a yeshuah. i think this a beautiful thing and it defanitly may get you the S”d you need but dont think a prayer or a mitzvah goes forgotten even if Hashem says “no”.

     the vayimayn yidden do this because it changes their lives. you feel so much better with yourself when your careful with where you look. its a huge huge struggle out there and this amazing project just helps people keep the fight on their minds and encourages us every day to keep fighting.

     • I agree with you. The biggest yeshuah is the fact that the person changed themselves. Why can’t people share their success in overcoming a challenge without the additional claim to have seen a yeshuah?
       Most of us doesn’t see miracles after doing a good deed & it’s just as valuable.

   • I heard from an Adom Gadol, that רוב of “financially successful” among us, are actually the Yidden we are objectively the least proud of (to put it mildly). רשעים וטוב להם

       In my eyes he is a big Tzaddik.
       Also this wealthy man he judges people

       I know other people that don’t judge another Yid in a favorable manner.
       A person can be a very big Tzadik in your eyes the way you understand what is considered a Tzadik and at the same time if he is not careful with
       לדון את חבירו לכף זכות
       Then there is a good possibility that he may slip with
       הלכות לשון הרע
       So in case you are wondering why some people are not wealthy, maybe part of the reason is that the
       חפץ חיים זכר צדיק וקדוש לברכה
       He said that people that slip with
       לשון הרע
       It can cause issues with Parnassa.
       If you were to honestly and truly fulfill the
       מצוה לדון את חבירו לכף זכות
       You would never say such a fake statement and say most of the wealthy and stick them all in the same pot.
       Imagine tomorrow you win th lottery, are you planning to ask The Lakewood scoop to delete your comment ???
