Video: The Special Children’s Center First Annual Jog-A-Thon Raises Over $50,000

VIDEO (See photos earlier) of yesterday’s first annual Jog-A-Thon event, in which close to 100 runners completed a 5 Kilometer run for special children. The event raised $54,000 which will benefit the children of the Center. Pictured, is Committeeman Akerman who joined the race.

  2. It was an amazing event. From the organizers to the people who came to give chizuk to the employees, etc.
    Everybody who came added to the wonderful atmosphere.
    Although everybody had a great time, we all came to participate in a dvar mitzvah.
    Thanks to all!

  3. I was there. I jogged. And walked. Then jogged a little & walked a lot. Again & again. This was a beautiful event. Thanx Moshe, Yanky, Yakov, Jeanine, Mrs Bender & all the staff for a wonderful event. Dudi B.

  4. That’s a great pic of Isaac Akerman. & btw, for those who don’t know, IA is a speedster. He started w/ me, towards the back of the pack & he finished, like, 25 min ahead of me. And he was wearing SHOES !! Unreal. What a talent !

  5. As a parent of a Center student I would like to thank al the sponsors, runners, staff, volunteers & all the ppl who participated in this party. I’m just telling you it was a major chizzuk to the special needs kids & to their families. Special thanx to Committemen Lichtenstien & Akerman for coming (and Running, in IA’s case) to this event.
