Powerful stuff. Keep them coming.
So true and scary! A person has to be so careful now days with what he does because in 1 min news can literally go worldwide!
Is this a true story?? If yes (hard to believe) it’s pretty bad & many problems need to be adressed. If it’s not true why are we being motzie la’az on klal Yisroel?? Cuz I don’t think such a thing would ever happen for many reasons
My main problem with the scenario, more than the horror of loshon hara is the concept that rebeim who give every ounce of their energy and all of their time to do the most important job of teaching our children are viewed by others as though they are not allowed to live a good life.
That’s why your tuition is so expensive? A rebbi is entitled to his salary the same way a businessman is entittled to his. If anything our rebeim should be living as easily as they can – they are doing such important work.
The comments are missing the point. Whether you can relate to this particular example or not, such things happen every day. It was meant to show the power of a few words with just a click in this day and age. (and if it just reminds you about shmiras halashon….??)
Ir nidachas never happened either. Listen and learn (each on their own level) instead of over-analyzing and being defensive.
That is really scary!
Personally I think this is taking it to extremes. I can’t remember once ever texting or receiving anything of that nature.
Why must we resort to fear tactics?,
A few days ago, for no real reason, I was threatened by a popular frum web site owner to post my picture and make fun of me. It’s really scary what these guys can do to you for a perceived slight.
