EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: The suspect who burglarized multiple vehicles in Presidential Estate this past Motzei Shabbos, was caught on camera by a resident’s home surveillance video camera, obtained by TLS. The video starts at about 4: 00 AM on Ford Avenue, where the suspect – dressed in a white outfit – can be seen making his way from car to car, looking for valuables.
At the 27-second mark in the video until the end of the video, the man could be seen trying the door handles to two vehicles, but continued on his way when those turned out to be locked.
Multiple vehicles were burglarized Motzei Shabbos, and the thief made away with GPS devices, a cell phones and other valuables.
Nice video but I didn’t see him commit any crime !!
How do you know it was a white outfit. Everything looks gray to me. I dont think the video proves anything, nice try anyway.
if u look closely u see him going around trying 2 cars on the street side. crazy thing hes just going freely!!!
The video on the second clip he is going from car to car trying to open the doors this is the guy. The issue is there is no fear he walks in middle of the street again there is nothing illegal about walking in Presidential only once he commits a crime. and trying to open car doors i don’t think you can even get arrested for that. Point of the video Lakewood needs to start patrolling the streets from 2am until 6:00 am every night and even on Friday night and this crime will stop
lesson: we are should install surveilance cameras on our homes and property. that way if there is the need we can look back for clues
LPD can’t be all over, what about in my area on 14th street, i pay HIGH taxes. i said this before private security for developments, some senior communities have them.
They are fearless because we are not giving them a reason for be scarred. We need to catch them red handed with night patrol and get them out of here.

Lakewood was patrolling but they were busy its tough being every where at once..
surveillance cameras are very expensive! its much cheaper to just buy a new GPS and replace some lose change…
To number 8:
or just to lock the doors to begin with. If we keep locking the doors they will stop coming.
I don’t usually comment on these articles, but I must say that it would definitely be a good idea to lock all your doors.
Then again, if everyone would lock their doors, they would start breaking the windows. It’s probably better for a few people to leave their car doors open so that the rest of our windows remain intact.
I think it starts with petty crime then it escalates to house brake ins etc.. thats why we gotta stop this now!!!
You can stop it. LOCK YOUR CAR!!!! How many people have to say it how many times on how many forums before some of you get it. He didn’t BREAK in , you invited him by leaving valuable items in plain sight in an UNLOCKED vehicle!
Just to quote the article-
“At the 27-second mark in the video until the end of the video, the man could be seen trying the door handles to two vehicles, but continued on his way when those turned out to be locked..”
Did you read that people? He continued on his way when those car doors turned out to be locked! What does that tell you? LOCK YOUR DOORS! And if your biggest concern is broken car windows, then hopefully you’re one of the smart few who don’t leave valuables in your car (GPS, cell phones, laptops, etc.) and the worst that will happen will be a bill for a new window and the wisdom of knowing it could have been worse
I think car alarms should be reinstated and activated.
AR-15 Rife =$800
Sniper scope (with night sights)=$250
One less thief on the street=Priceless
way to go CHEVRA!!!!!

lpd cant be all over
please tell where they are period at nights in this town
i was out from 2 am the other night and didnt see not 1 of them
so i can testify that you dont have the facts correct !
ps i wouldnt want to face a gangster either so why should they ??
we need more patroling in the time
pd doesnt have enough right now !
The way the article is written makes it seem like the video camera is motion activated this can be a big shayla on shabbos with yidden walking past
No it is not motion activated. It runs 24/7 and the recordings store for two weeks. There is no shabbos problem.
