  1. Maslow famously wrote that if you have a hammer everything looks like a nail. Kudos to Yisroel Wahl for being able to see the full picture and do whatever is necessary to bring success to his clients.
    I don’t know how many therapists can do this because many therapists are tied down to a singular approach. Whether it’s CBT, DBT, ABA or any other approach, the key is to be able to move out of a singular approach and have the ability to do whatever is necessary including mixing and matching depending on the needs of the client.
    I’ve been continuously impressed with these videos. Each one is filled with insight and wisdom. Thank you for publishing them.

  2. So you are basically saying that an angry, defiant child doesn’t need therapy rather he just needs to be made to feel great about himself?

    You might succeed in building him up and making him feel good and hopefully he’ll be successful one day but if the underlying anger is there and not being dealt with, it will only be an issue at a later time that will have to be dealt with.

    It’s true that most therapists are not handling these children the right way but saying that a licensed therapist is useless is only trying to promote the unlicensed.

  3. To Wondering ;
    You write “Its True, most therapists are not handling these children the right way “
    And than you defend the same therapist ….
    are you in this for your child or the therapist ??

  4. Wow. Every time I watch these videos, I am impressed with how on target they are.
    I am looking forward to the next one. Thank you Lakewood Scoop for posting.
