  4. I have 3 sons in Ruach Hatorah this summer- they are having a fabulous time, in a wonderful, frum, Torahdig atmosphere. They will be relaxed and ready to start another grueling school year after their fantastic time in camp!

  7. Oy vey, is this what jewish entertainment has come to? why not have some real gedolim come to the camp and speak to the boys about the beauty of yiddishkeit. thats somthing worth posting – and watching!

  9. I miss being a part of this cam I only have great praise for R’ Weiss he is not the standard head but treats every kid like he has been there rebbe all year!

  11. Lakewood grow up. If you are not going to allow the kids to have fun and everything is going to be assur and penalized you are going to chas vshalom have a town of burnout off the derech kids. Why is everyone so over farfrumt with everyone else and the lakewood scoop? Let kids play ball!!! Our elder roshei yeshivos did not assur everything and encouraged bnei torah to play ball. And learn english. Rav elya and rav avrohom chaim levine.

    Is it better to rent a bungalow in the mountains? Is it better to spend top dollars for overnight camp?

    B”H the local camps are entertain our kids this summer at a fraction of the costs of overnight.

  14. gosh, i cant believe there were so many comments against this. the first comment against it, i seriously thought the person meant it as a joke. but when i saw a few other comments along the same lines, i realized these ppl were dead serious. arghhh, it makes me so mad!! lkwd gotta stop being so closed minded!

    Let’s try to get the Roshei Yeshiva to come down and entertain the boys with an original chidush that they could repeat at home. Perhaps they can find some way to tie the Parsha, the Perek, and the Blatt (by the way, that would be a great title for a children’s story book).

    We could perhaps end the session with some lebedika zmiros, maybe Avinu Malkeinu and Ani Maamin or something.

  16. i dont understand all you people talking about the “issur” of watching clean wholesome ball being played by goyim when all you guys are on the internet which every gadol and poisek says its assur gamur to go on bli tzorech gamur and even then its very shver. i think some prioroty thinking is good for everyone
