VIDEO: State Troopers, LPD arrest man who fled traffic stop in Lakewood, hid in bush; Suspect found with drugs

A man was arrested after fleeing from police during a traffic stop in Lakewood, police told TLS.

A State Trooper attempted to stop the driver in the area of River Avenue and Birch Street, whereupon the driver took off running.

After a brief chase, Troopers and Lakewood police officers located the suspect hiding in a bush and took him into custody.

Police say the suspect was found to be in possession of drugs.
