Thank you!

I’m glad the Prosecutor’s Office clarified that if someone obtains a carry permit legally then it would not be illegal to carry.

The prosecutor is correct. The township can budget to employ a certain amount of SLEO 3 armed guards.

Lol this is a joke

You think you will be able to obtain a carry permit… in New Jersey??!??!!? Think twice and then think twice again. New Jersey has the strictest gun laws in the USA, probably strictest in the free world!

Nj has one of strickest gun laws in United States, the only way for regular citizen with no legit reason to be approved for a carry is go thru training & form an armed guard security company

I think one way to set this up, would be to open a shul security company, and those mispalilim would be a “security guard for the company” ,come on where is your gemarah kup??

if someone is determined to kill, he will succeed unless he is killed first before anyone knows what his intentions are so we become exactly what we are trying to prevent him from becoming. if everyone on the ground in las vegas had had a gun, it would not have stopped the guy who was shooting from the hotel window

Actually, the only way his shooting spree ended was when he was shot. So maybe there will be one or two injuries or fatalities, but in the case that you brought up there could have been dozens of lives saved & many many less injuries.

please use your brains before spewing your left wing agenda.

so you found the one shooting where if the victims were armed wouldn’t have helped
most mass shootings if there were armed people round they could probably stop it
we call the police to stop them because the police are armed

@already armed if I’m not mistaken if you get a CCW permit as a security guard you will need to be in uniform when carrying.

In a town with 100,000 Orthodox Jews you would expect to have a at least a couple of cops from the community.

I say LCSW should open a security wing.

They already have a great reputation here.

Newcomern, do some research on this you’ll see quite a few instances where gunmen were stopped by someone with a gun. Las Vegas is one case where the gunman had upper ground advantage, he was on the 14th floor. In most other shootings, someone with a gun would most likely have stopped the shooting.

You cant get a permit to carry a handgun in NJ but i failed to mention that as long as you have a FID card (which anyone can get) you can carry rifles without any special permit. The rifle has to be unloaded but if you have a shot gun it takes 1 second to load if needed
