VIDEO: Several Injured in 8-Vehicle MVA on GSP; Traffic Alert

VIDEO: Several people were reportedly injured in an eight-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway today, as reported on our News Alerts (@LakewoodScoop).

The crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at around the 135 mile marker in the northbound lanes, causing severe traffic delays for miles.

The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

60 mph is 88 fps. Approximately 6 car lengths. At 9AM, GSP south, 80 miles per hour with 1 car length. Add in even closer tailgating, text, phone, coffee, bagel, makeup and shaving. There is no vehicle built that can stop in that distance. Courtesy is king. Drive responsibly.
