Christie said more than 30,000 homes or businesses were destroyed in the storm, and about 230,000 New Jerseyans have reached out to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for assistance. TLS.

  1. Many shore communities are very fit for most of the residents to move back or at least have acess to their homes, offices, etc. Yet the Governor is not allowing it for some unexplained reason.

The Mayor & other professionals say that Lavelette, NJ is safe for many of the residents, but the Governor is not allowing it.

We hope it isn’t being used as a tactic to get Federal funds

  2. Yudel…one word…”looting”. Once your back on the island, what’s keeping a resident of ill repute from taking a stroll to bay head, Normandy bch and Manasquan to see what accidental fell out of someone’s living room? Check the prices for cooper piping before you go!

Access to those homes must be very controlled.
