The Lakewood community and beyond is still reeling from the tragic Petirah of Rabbi Eli and Raizy Neydavoud Z”L.
Rabbi Eli was known to be fiery Ben Torah who would infuse others with Torah and Simcha.
The following video from Camp Chevra – where Rabbi Eli Neydavoud Z”L worked during the summer – highlights just the type of person he was, giving the children a Chiyus that would keep them going throughout the year.
”He was one of the most talented people I ever met,” said Turx, the Program Director at Camp Chevra. “This video sheds light on the kind of individual Klal Yisroel lost.”
Below is also a video of Rabbi Eli Neydavoud Z”L Shteiging in Learning at Rabbi Harary’s Yeshiva.
As a fellow counselor in Camp Chevra, I can really say that as much as he’s obviously acting out because he was on video, that positivity and the way he was always so jolly and excited to be there for others, was not an act just for the video. That’s really who he was!
Since I was a camper in Eli’s bunk in camp Chevra, I can say that Eli was always smiling never a frown on his face, and always including everyone in the game, his acting in the video was his real self he was always smiling whether we were behaving or not so with his endless patience, may the Neydavoud mishpacha and all of klal Yisroel have a complete Nechama
R’ Eli Z’L was my learning rebbi in camp and was one of the most geshmake people I’ve ever met. I was in that camp video and even when the cameras were off he always had his trademark smile on his face. He should have an aliyas neshama and his family should have a nechama.
