VIDEO: Rare footage of the Chofetz Chaim has surfaced this week. The footage is reportedly from 1923 during the first Knessia Gedolah.
The following is the description released with the video:
The First World Congress (Knessia Gedolah) of the World Agudath Israel the first major gathering of all the different sects of Klal Yisroel which took place in Vienna starting from Elul 3, 5683 / August 15, 1923 and which lasted for ten days.

The most amazing part if the video is how the photographer of this video was a very big Talmud chacham. He wrote the Talmud yerushalmi on kodshim!

although it looks amazing, is it possible this isn’t real? the video isn’t around for 90+ years then it comes out with such clarity. has anyone watched any video clips from even the 30’s 40’s and 50’s they aren’t remotely as clear as this. how can a clip from 1923 be so perfectly clear?
Oh, my, #25, can’t you see how many people are being recognized? You speak like the scary people who say things didn’t happen because THEY didn’t see it. It’s 1923. The video is NOT perfectly clear. This is awesome. It’s awe-inspiring. It’s a beautiful gift being shared with us.
