VIDEO: Police investigating “Kill Lakewood Police” sticker in Lakewood

Police this afternoon are investigating after a sticker calling to “Kill Lakewood Police” was found in Lakewood.

The sticker, written on a mailing label, was stuck onto a stop sign at the intersection of North Lake Drive and Route 9.

Sources tell TLS it may be in response to Lakewood police shooting an aggressive pit bull that attacked them during an investigation.

Police removed the sticker and attempting to track down the suspect.

  1. This is beyond understanding for anyone to post or communicate such hatred against anyone yet alone police officers who are placing their lives in danger everyday to keep us safe.

    • I was just thinking the same thing. I wouldn’t want their job. What’s with all the hate recently? Be kind to each other; we’re all the same.

  2. The Lakewood police do so much every single day to protect and serve our community. There is no room in this town for hatred of any kind, especially any hatred against the people that put their lives on the line for our protection.

  3. We the charedi tzibur are obligated by the dictate of Torasainu H’kdosha to show our gratitude to the men and women of the Lakewood police department. Aside from the obligation we should be inclined to be grateful. On behalf of the Jewish community, I offer our sincere thanks!

  4. LPD officers are always so professional and courteous! Every encounter with them impresses me. I’ve dealt with other police departments and I know the difference.
