VIDEO & PHOTOS: SWAT Responds to Barricade Scene Following Stabbing

swat mlk 1VIDEO: Lakewood’s SWAT team was called in after the stabbing suspect reportedly barricaded himself in a nearby apartment, as earlier reported on our News Alerts.

Dozens of police officers from Lakewood and surrounding townships swarmed the area following the stabbing on MLK Drive, which left a man in critical condition.

swat mlk 2At least one person was reportedly arrested, though it’s still unclear if the prime suspect was apprehended.

Martin Luther King street/road/drive in any city is usually the rough one in town

Agreed that in Lakewood this is true, who decided that this is true in all other towns? Perhaps you only notice the name of the street in news reports when it’s MLK because you’re familiar with the name from Lakewood?
