VIDEO & PHOTOS: Over 1,000 Attend Historic ArtScroll Siyum on Yerushalmi in Florida

Over 1,000 gathered Wednesday evening at the Trump National Doral, Florida to celebrate ArtScroll’s Siyum on Talmud Yerushalmi.

Graced by the presence of Rabbonim, ArtScroll’s founding families and scholars, the supporters from around the globe took part in a historic Siyum celebrating a milestone 16 years in the making.

Following a buffet dinner, guests enjoyed the Siyum and a few short addresses by ArtScroll’s Rabbi Nosson Scherman, ArtScroll President Gedaliah Zlotowitz, Mr. Jay Schottenstein patron of the Schottenstein Edition Talmud Bavli and Yerushalmi, Mr. Gary Torgow, Rabbi Ahron Zlotowitz, and others.

In honor of ArtScroll’s founder Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz ZT”L, a new song was performed by Yaakov Shwekey (see video).

Following the program, guests enjoyed a dessert, which featured a Kumzitz with Abie Rottenberg, Rivie Schwebel, Shlomo Simcha and Rabbi Eli Cohen.

The event concludes Thursday morning.
