NJ Attorney General Gurbir Grewal today held an interfaith vigil in Newark in wake of the Pittsburgh attacks, speaking about the importance of cross-denominational unity.

In attendance, was: Mayor Ras J. Baraka, NJ Attorney General Gurbir Grewal; Rabbi Abe Friedman; Pastor Steffie Bartley, NAN Interim Northeast Regional Director; NJ Homeland Security Director Jarred Maples; Rabbi Simon Rosenbach; Eric Freedman, President, Congregation Ahavas Sholom; Rabbi Avi Richler, Chabbad; Nathen Zemel, MD, Pastor David Jefferson, Metropolitan Baptist Church and NAN NJ; Larry Ham, People For Progress; Dr. Charles F. Boyd; Senior Leaders, National Action Network; Essex County Prosecutor; Reps from NJ Governor’s office; State troopers; Other NAN leadership

The event took place at Congregation Ahavas Sholom.
