Nearly 20,000 people attended the Dr. Rich Roberts carnival today, making it the most successful carnival to date, Dr. Roberts tells TLS.
By around 3:00 PM, all noshes and prizes were gone.
Dr. Roberts says they ordered 500 pounds of sugar (for the cotton candy machines), 500 packages of popcorn seeds, 12,000 popcorn cups and 12,000 cotton candy cones.
“It’s by far the biggest carnival we ever had,” Dr. Roberts told TLS.
Dr. Roberts says the event cost him over $120,000.
Thank You so much! The children had a great time.
Beautiful.
Dr Roberts. Thank you so much for such a beautiful event. My kids (and I:) ) had such a wonderful time!!!
may HKB’H shower you with tremendous Brochas
Dr. Roberts is a real doer. He gets the job done.
There are many people who plan to do wonderful things.
Some of those guys do not come thru all the way.
Dr. Rich Roberts plans and keeps on going till the finish line.
Dr. Rich Roberts and his Chevra, they are the special messengers of Hashem to give a wonderful and exciting Chol Hamoed experience to Hashem’s beautiful children.
Thank you so much to the Lakewood Police officers and the other wonderful organizations that were helping.
Do you think there can be a few hours of separate times for men & women so everyone in Lakewood can attend?
lol. everyone in lakewood was there…. =)
I don’t see how this request is doable.
DR Roberts truly comes thru for the community time after time thank you.
A million thank yous to Dr. Roberts for making this event happen!
A tremendous thank you to Rabbi Liefer for arranging this event the attention to detail was amazing!
Thank you to all those who worked tirelessly in all the areas that make such a massive event a success!
My kids ages 1,2, and 4 thoroughly enjoyed the phenomal zoo, the flying motorbike show and muttville! The Yitzy Erps show I very much enjoyed!(The 1 year old had a lot of nosh).
Thank you thank you and thank you!
Thank you Dr. Roberts! The nosh and prizes were amazing, my family had a blast!
Wow! I think this is the first year we did not attend (due to personal reasons) , since the time it was in Dr Robert’s backyard! It is a mind blowing event, that is fun every chol hamoed!! Your schar is great mispachas Robert’s! And thank you to all the organizers and boys manning food stations! Tizku lmitzvos
Dear Dr. Roberts,
This was my first experience at the carnival.
I was BLOWN AWAY!
The incredible coordination showed so much thought and effort in creating an incredible experience for the kids and adults!
We got the great prizes and nosh…with a 3 minute wait!!!
That’s an incredibly short wait time, considering how many thousands of people were there!
We attended all the shows, got great seating and absolutely loved it!
When we got home, my kids told me that they want to write thank you card to Dr. Roberts and his staff.
But first….they sat down to start drawing on their exciting writing tablets that they received. That thoughtful prize extended all the fun and kept them busy for the rest of the day ( and month im sure!)
Not only was this an incredible help for us (close by, free, kosher entertainment) but it was done in such a thoughtful way so we felt taken care of (short wait times, plenty of seating, tents for the rain….)
Thank you!
We owe you hakaras hatov for giving our yom tov such a simchadik vibe!
Wow what an incredible day! Thank you Dr Roberts and crew! We can’t thank you Eno gh! From a to z it was perfectly planned and we’ll executed. Kol hakavod!
Thank you very much this is the Chol Hamoed trip we do and give us so much
I came with 5 kids, ages 3-10, and they all loved it, despite the rain.
and the best part is, my wife was able to get the yomtov housework done with the kids away.
Thank you R’ kasriel roberts!
Dr. Roberts, the motorcycle show was phenomenal! And the traveling zoo was great! The carnival gets better and better every year. You can tell that a lot of time and effort goes into it.
Where are the other 19,985 thank you notes?….
Some of the 19,985 people are right now busy learning or heavily involved with Chessed projects or simply busy with their children. Don’t you worry, Dr. Rich Roberts will for sure (1000%) get a percentage of the merit of their Torah learning and a merit through their Chessed projects. This is a lengthy discussion. The comment will be way too long. Whether they actually write a comment or they don’t, Dr. Roberts, regardless gets tons of blessings from the Almighty.
Wow, out of towner watching the video. I’m inspired to take motorcycle lessons and to try to learn generosity.
Thank you Dr. Roberts,
Dr. Roberts, you could have taken your entire extended family on a luxury trip to Eretz Yisroel for the entire Sukkos. Instead, you used your personal time and money to benefit and be mesame’ach the klal in such an amazing way. And then to actually see you hands on making cotton candy for the oilam was just so special. May Hakadosh Baruch Hu repay you for your unlimitless kindness.
Thank you Dr. Roberts for such a fun and enjoyable day! My kids are still playing with the prize that they got and talking about the dog and motorcyle show and about the animals they saw in the zoo. You really made our Chol HaMoed into something special!
My family had a lovely time, such awesome prizes! Nosh! Shows! Unbelievable! Such generosity with a smile! Thank you, keep it up Dr. Roberts! Tzidku l’mitzvos and may this carnivals keep on going!
Once again I was completely blown away by the Carnival! The organization of every aspect of it is very apparent! Dr. Roberts, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
