The Jackson Township this morning dedicated a highway in memory of Jackson Police Officer Robert “Robbie” Ventura, who died on this day 24 years ago while responding to a call.
Officer Ventura was with Jackson Police for two years, and was also a fire captain in Jackson. He is survived by his wife, daughter (Officer, West Windsor Twp PD), and son.
The event was attended by fellow officers, elected officials and friends.
