VIDEO & PHOTOS: Harav Dov Yoffe Shlita, the Mashgiach of Yeshiva Knesses Chizkiyahu in Kfar Chassidim, paid a special visit to the Toras Aron elementary school this past Thursday.

The Rav was greeted with singing as he was led into the ball room, where he addressed the students and staff and joined in Tehillim and singing.

Rav Yoffe was Born in Sivan 1928 in Vilna, Lithuania. His family emigrated to Eretz Yisroel in 1935 and settled in Tel Aviv. Rav Yoffe later became a talmid of the Chevron and Ponovezh Yeshivos, studying under the renowned Roshei Yeshivos of those bastions of Torah and also serving and learning from the Chazon Ish, imbibing the teachings and Hanhagos of the Gadol Hador. He then learned in the Slabodka Yeshiva until his marriage, to the daughter of Rav Aharon Cohen, Rosh Yeshiva of Chevron Yeshiva

Rav Dov was also a Mashgiach together with Reb Elya Lopian in Kefar Chasidim, where he is currently the Mashgiach. [TLS. Video & Photos provided by the Lakewood Shopper].
