VIDEO & PHOTOS: Fire severely damages Lakewood home, displaces family

fire-ventura[VIDEO BELOW] A fire has severely damaged a Lakewood home this morning, and has displaced the family.

As reported on our news alerts (@LakewoodScoop), the fire broke at around 11:00 AM inside a Raintree home.

Nobody was home at the time, though someone was in the house prior to the fire, officials say. The fire appeared ot have originated on the ground level.

Mutual aid was called in from Brick to assist the Lakewood Fire Department.

The family – said to be three adults and an infant – are being assisted by Red Cross.

The incident is being investigated by the Fire Marshal’s Office.

  1. Wow no comments for this poor family. Thats sad. Will this community step outside their own to help? Prayers for them and may they get the help they need to get back on their feet.
