VIDEO & PHOTOS: A Kumzitz at the NJ State House – Misameach celebrates with Senators, Assemblymen at the State Capitol

img_8606[VIDEO & PHOTOS BELOW] It’s not every day you get to see a Kumzitz at the New Jersey State House, but today was different.

Today, Misameach boys enjoyed a very special event, where they got to meet and celebrate with many Senators and Congressmen at the State capitol building.

The event, arranged by the New Jersey Chaplains Association, included a kumzitz with some of the senators in the Senate chamber, with music by Avidon Moskowitz and Meyer Rosenbaum.

Among some of the many senators and assemblymen who attended, were Senate President Sweeney, Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto, Assemblyman Gary Schaer, Senator Bob Singer, Senator Joe Kyrillos and more.

Donuts were distributed to all present and Senators Singer and Sweeney gave a nice proclamation to one of the boys.

“Misameach would like to thank the New Jersey Chaplain’s Association for arranging the event and our longtime volunteers, Avidan Moskowitz and Meir Rosenbaum for leading the music,” Misameach said.

  1. Amazing. Not one senator or state employee realized how absolutely sick Meyer was on the flute. Dancing around, changing keys, perfect tone and, of course, as usual, flawless. Superb.
