VIDEO: Off-duty Trooper chases down alleged DWI suspect after accident in Lakewood

As reported last night on our News Alerts, an off-duty State Trooper Chase alleged DWI suspect after causing an accident in Lakewood.

The accident occurred approximately 8:00 PM at the intersection of James Street and Cross Street.

After witnessing the accident, the Trooper got out of his car and gave chase to the fleeing suspect. He managed to tackle the suspect in the woods and hold him down until police arrived. He was taken into custody.

No injuries were reported in the accident.
