  1. why does Ostreicher care about textbooks?? Is he really running again??
Mr. Grunhut at least makes sense…. every child must get their special needs addressed no matter what the budget says!

  2. the district spent close to a million dollars this year on books. The parents, teachers and most of all the students will tell you text books are not an issue. Mr. Ostreicher still doesn’t get it ?

  3. I’m a student At LHS and books are not a problem. However, lack of technology is a huge area that needs to be fixed. The board should have spent that money on technology. It would be nice for the teachers to teach us using a smartboard or projector. I mean I bet if I was a kid at the big private sp ed school on Oak street school has technology.

  4. Ostreicher’s point was not only about textbooks. His point is that you don’t just cut so you can go out and boast to everyone how you reduced the budget! There has to be accountability the the cutting. Ostreicher wants to cut taxes as much as anyone else, he’s just a lot more mature about it

  5. # 5 . You have no clue what your talking about. The person you are referencing voted for increasing the budget every year he has been on the board. last year he again for for an increase and this year there is a surplus. He must go. If you would attend a board meeting you will see what thousands see.
