VIDEO: New Helicopter service launched for Lakewood, Monsey, Manhattan and the Catskills!

[VIDEO BELOW] by T.H. Imagine a ride above traffic. Better yet, imagine not only beating traffic but being able to fly in minutes to and from Manhattan, Lakewood, Monsey and the Catskills. Now imagine that this is actually a reality – because it is!

In a much celebrated effort for an idea whose time has come, Upperide – a Frum company flying since 2002, has launched a helicopter commuting service that not only arrives in record time, but provides door to door service from before takeoff to landing. In the past, commuting has been a long drawn out and particularly painful experience, but Upperide has made it something to look forward to instead.

In fact, Upperide tells TLS, news about the launch was leaked within the company last week, prompting hundreds of calls for service.

“The enormous benefits of a helicopter commuter service, the vast amount of time saved, the knowledge that one can arrive after a short commute feeling energized and productive instead of worn out from fighting gridlock make Upperide the trend for the future,” says Upperide.

Upperide currently services three locations in Manhattan, one in Lakewood, another just minutes from Monsey, and 3 in the Catskills. Plans are also underway to service Brooklyn and the Five Towns.

In addition, Upperide currently services Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, and all airports in the region.

“Imagine hopping onto a helicopter and traveling from Lakewood to Monsey in about 24 minutes!” says Upperide. Lakewood to the Catskills? 35 minutes! Currently, they land in Swan Lake and Monticello. South Fallsburg is being added in the coming days. From Lakewood, the helicopters leave from the Lakewood Airport, on Cedarbridge Avenue.

Yes, it will cost you more than a tank of gas, but when you’re just not in the mood of sitting in hours of traffic, or you need to get somewhere fast, this is a dream come true. After all, time is money.

Besides for commuting, the company also offers engagement proposals!

  1. I’m going to take the stretch limo. At half the price of the helicopter it’s a real bargain, and I’ll still come into the Bungalow Colony feeling refreshed….

  2. On paper [or Lakewood scoop ] it sounds great , but to me it sounds somewhat scary I am afraid of more accidents CHAS VESHOLEM, especially if the weather is bad, Please somebody reassure me that I am completely wrong. Thank you, ,

  3. This is a great idea. I wanted to start this yrs ago. I was always hesitant to get a place in the Catskills cuz I would miss 1st Seder and the 1:45 Mincha in Coventry. Now I can do both !! Sign me up !!!

  4. Time is money. So sitting in traffic from Lakewood for 4-5 hours on Friday during the summer can cost certain business man. If you are one of the lucky ones making $250+ an hour and can work an additional 3 hours then it ‘s worth it.

  5. I would do this in a second, if I needed it. I once took a helicopter ride and loved it, much more than small planes. Even if I dont make $250/hr. If I have to rush and fight GSP & Rt 17 traffic it kills my night. WHats a peaceful Shabbos worth ?! Cleared for Lift-Off !!

  6. Hmmm. Now let’s see if someone can figure out how to get kids waiting weeks to get into Yeshiva at the beginning of each year to get it done in 35 minutes and less. A better investment for your hard earned money!!!!!!!

  7. I’m going to be flying my own helicopter over route 9 to bring my kids back and forth to school as currently we still do not have bussing! See you in the skies!
