1. why when the mexicans need extra police to secure a celebration which is not even about this country- that is ok – BUT when the Hasidic in NYC teach traditional, moral, lifesaving values and raise another generation of patriotic, industrious, civil, family oriented citizens THEN the NY Times will go ahead and bash them? to be mexican and not american is ok, but not to be liberal is not ok?

Jews, like many other ethnic groups who LEGALLY emigrated to America, embraced their American citizenship, made a point of learning the language and are, by and large, a very patriotic group. Jews fought in Washington’s army in the Revolution, in the War of 1812 and all the wars since.

       The ILLEGAL immigrant population does not embrace American culture, language or ideals. There is simply no comparison.

6. Does a celebration of German, Polish or Italian heritage bother you or only non-White countries. I read in one city when the Italians were dedicating a monument to Columbus a Frum boys choir performed.

   • right, but why does the NY Times attack the Jewish educational heritage which is by and large productive and peaceful while at the same Times they do not seem to care about other immigrant groups holding on to their ethnic lifestyles, customs, and traditions???!

   • None of the people of those heritages celebrate their independence day. They are Americans who still take pride in their cultural heritage and don’t rub their nationality in our face because they are our fellow citizens. But nice try at race-baiting anyway.
