VIDEO: Mayor Miller announced a new Township website feature today, which allows homeowners to pay their property taxes online.
The Mayor says, the implementation of the feature, which went live today, is credited to former Mayor and current Deputy Mayor Albert Akerman.

Great!!!
Now we just need them to reduce the outrageous taxes that we pay!
Wil there be a service fee??? for processing online
I’m glad to save 49 cents like the mayor said. This is what comes up when paying online:
“There are fees associated with paying your bill online.
If you pay by ACH or e-check, there is a $1.05 convenience fee.
If you pay by Visa debit card, there is a $3.95 convenience fee.
The fee for all other debit and credit card payments will be
approximately 2.95% of your total bill.”
why is it public records if i am behind on my taxes (u can look up any ones status )
Why shouldn’t it be public records? You do owe the public the money, and the public has every right to know who owes it money!!
Just checked my next door neighbor – the last time he paid his taxes was August 2013. Can someone explain why? Note- delete my previous message. I hit the wrong number.
This is great!!! Even if I chose not to pay online at least I could look up to see what my balance is and if my mortgage company paid it.
For me this is great. I live out of town in the winter but have my family property in Lakewood. I can now pay online and be assured that my payment went through without having to worry that they lost my check 🙂
Pla-eez!! Nobody is forcing you to use this feature and nobody is making you pay any fees.
Stop whining and just be happy that the town is looking to help those that this would be convenient for.
this is a great opportunity to pay your friend’s bill if you see that he is delinquent!!!!
THIS IS GREAT FOR ME BUT IF I USE MY CREDIT CARD WILL THERE BE A FEE ADDED ON MY STATEMENT FOR THIS SERVICE? CAN SOMEONE ANSWER ME ON THIS PLEASE. I AM TALKING ABOUT AM. EXPRESS OR MASTER. THANKS
Same old question : if the town is Ka”h growing adding new properties who do not use the public school system Why are taxes not being reduced??
if you get 1% back from your visa cc, then on a $2000 tax bill you save about $16.05. sounds good to me…
If I have a mortgage can I still pay my taxes with credit card?
