VIDEO: Spotting a disabled vehicle in middle of the road last night during the storm, Mayor Miller decided to get out and help. Despite the pouring rain, Mayor Miller, still dressed in military duty uniform from a long day doing reserve duty at McGuire AFB, went over to the driver to see what the matter was.
When learning that the vehicle ran out of gas, Mayor Miller used his vehicle to push it out of the way of traffic.
Once on the side of the road, Mayor Miller walked to a nearby gas station and filled up a container of gas.
Soaking wet from the storm, Mayor Miller returned to the vehicle, filled it up, and sent the driver on her way.

Instead of just sitting there capturing the moment, why didn’t the person filming this act of chessed get out and hold an umbrella over the mayor? Wouldn’t that have been the mentchlich thing to do?
Great! Why don’t they spend an hour talking about that on the radio?
I think he should be our next president!

I think that he is a great mayor and is interested in all the people in Lakewood!!
maybe the driver didn’t have an umbrella? Do you have an umbrella in your car?
Maybe the camera was on a tripod and the owner of said camera was calming the driver off screen?
