VIDEO: Mashgiach Rav Reuven Leuchter in Lakewood

HaMashgiach Rav Reuven Leuchter is renowned for his profound and insightful approach to Chinuch and Avodas Hashem, based on the teachings of the outstanding Mussar personalities and teachers, specifically the Mashgiach, Rav Shlomo Wolbe zt”l. He has educated and guided thousands, in Yeshivos, kollelim, and kehillos around the world.

Born and raised in Lucerne, Switzerland, Rav Leuchter joined the Mir Yeshiva as a teenager and immediately earned renown for his brilliance and unique approach to the Torah. He grew close to many Gedolei Torah, Like Rabbi Moshe Soloveitzik Ztzal, Rabbi Beinish Finkel Ztzal Rosh Yeshivas Mir, Rabbi Yitzchak Hutner Ztzal, and especially with the Mussar giant Rav Shlomo Volbe, with whom he learned Chavrusa for over 25 years, and with Rabbi Yonasan David Rosh Yeshivas Pachad Yitzchok Slita. Even as A young man, his shiurim on mussar and Machshava drew thousands closer to avodas Hashem. He served as mashgiach in Yeshivas Chevron-Geulah and more Yesheyos and as a spiritual mentor in many kollelim throughout Israel. He also served as a leading educator in the Ner L’elef program. Today, Talmidim describes how his shiurim, combined with his exquisitely personalized approach to education, opens up new vistas in avodas Hashem, Avodah, that deals with the current situations, which is connected to reality and obligates us to work and change in any situation.
