A man was arrested in Lakewood early this morning after waking into a 7/11 with a 10-inch knife, police say.

Shortly before 1:00 AM, “Ryshan Purnell entered the 7-11 with a 10″ fixed blade K-Bar style knife,” police told TLS.

Videos submitted to TLS show the suspect handing the knife to a female as soon as police arrived.

After several minutes of arguing police, and reportedly attempting to deny the incident – and blame Jewish bystanders in the process, Purnell was taken into custody.

“He was later arrested and charged on a warrant with unlawful possession of a weapon and transported to OCJ,” police said.
