VIDEO: Man Arrested after Stealing Car in Broad Daylight in Lakewood

A suspect is in custody after allegedly stealing a car in broad daylight in Lakewood.

The victim tells TLS he left his car running for a moment when he ran into a bagel store, and came out to find his vehicle missing.

After phoning police, the victim says he spotted the suspect driving his car nearby, and confronted him asking him what he’s doing in his car.

“This is your car?” the suspect allegedly asked before running on foot.

The victim followed him and passed along the information to police, who apprehended the suspect a short time later.

If car owners would fix the lights in their cars, the thieves would not have to steal the cars in broad daylight because they would be able to see the ignition and other instruments at night with the car light on. Is it really surprising that these thieves steal the cars in broad daylight when car owners do not fix the lights in their own cars?! What do you expect?! The simple solution is to fix the lights.
