  1. I watched he video, one baby was wearing it all wrong. The strap wa ls twisted and off the shoulder. Another kid should of been in a booster seat. He was well below the age. If your going to put out safety videos make sure they are right

  2. As a parent, EMT and child car seat safety inspector, I am shocked and horrified at this “safety” video.

The amount of unsafe practices depicted here is very disturbing and this video should be pulled and updated.

    1. The infant in the carseat at 0:45 with the straps all twisted, closed loosely with the clip down by the stomach would be in horrible shape if in an accident. One of the straps is completely off his shoulder. He would go flying out of the car seat in an accident, if he was not strangled by those rope straps.

    2. The girl in the car seat at 0:40 has her straps extremely loose with the retainer clip down by her stomach and not between her armpits where it should be.

    3. The boy at 0:52 is way to short and young to be using a seatbelt without a booster. The seatbelt is right across his neck! While the video points out that seatbelts save 13,000 lives a year, sadly, that boy will not be one of them if he is in an accident.

    4. The car seat sitting on top of the shopping cart at 0:36. That is a very dangerous practice. Despite the fact that car seats seem to click into that area so well, the shopping cart is NOT designed for that. Hitting a small bump, especially in the parking lot can and will result in the car seat flying off the car. Babies die every year from that exact scenario. The only safe place for the car seat would be inside the main area of the shopping cart itself.
